Important considerations for our guests

  • Culinary Focus
Our Gourmet Getaway celebrates Galicia’s rich culinary heritage, with a special emphasis on its bountiful seafood. We collaborate with local restaurants to design exclusive menus that highlight the best of Galician cuisine, from the sea to the land. Please be aware that seafood will be a significant component of meals throughout our tour. If you have allergies or intolerances to fish and shellfish, this tour may not be the best fit for you. We encourage you to consider your dietary needs when booking.
  • Boat Excursions
Part of our journey includes the opportunity to explore the tranquil waters of the Galician rias by boat. While these waters are generally calm, weather conditions can lead to mild waves. If you are prone to seasickness, please note that these boat rides are optional. You can choose to stay on land and enjoy alternative activities, ensuring you still have a fulfilling experience exploring the scenic coastal towns and landscapes.
  • Weather Considerations
Galicia is known for its lush, verdant landscapes, a trait made possible by its frequent rain. October is a month when rain is quite common, but it does not dampen the spirit of exploration. We continue our activities equipped with umbrellas and rain jackets. Embracing the local motto that “life doesn’t stop because of rain in Galicia,” we invite you to enjoy the authentic experience of Galicia, rain or shine.
